REVIVING ETHICS: A TIME- BOUND REALIZATION
This is a time-bound realization, I express my heartiest thanks to dear Dr. Jernail S Aanand for his deep feelings about the present time situation worldwide and for taking a step towards creating awareness as well as initiating some positive actions for the people through humanistic education and digital communication.
We people all over the world are witnessing a massive change in our attitude, and behavior where ethical issues are being downtrodden each moment. We have lost our classical living as human beings everywhere. We are not able to return to our classical lives- but we can start up a neo-classical life now by making the humanistic one. It seems to me The “Ethical Univers” should be our vision now and keeping the vision in mind we should start learning and practicing ethical actions in our individual life.
The current time that we are crossing through is not like the time 100 years back. The economic, social, cultural, and creative systems and practices have changed totally from the past. Now our life system is so different from the past that nobody from the past could able to realize or even understand the time of 21 century. We know this is the time for grabbing the market- market-based imperialism, not geographical imperialism. This market-based attitude is not limited to state parties only but this thought has spread to the individuals- that is one major cause of the destruction of the ethical responsibility of human beings.
Presently, the science and technology of different countries fighting for conquering the stars. It does mean we have already entered a different civilization that is completely different, complex, and surprising.
Therefore, we have to think about our ethical future very differently with new philosophical ideas that will fit the future. In that case, we have to keep in mind, there are a few universal ethical issues, and some of them have already started to be ignored- that is the crisis of ethics in a real sense, which will bring huge destruction to humanity.
Therefore, thinking about future ethics is an indispensable need for humanity. At the same time, this is our ethical responsibility for our generation to those who come forward.
